What a delightful long week!!!
I spent mine visiting my mother's hometown in Cabiao, Nueva Ecija, and had a quaint time with old friends and sweet, endearing relatives.
Although only for a night and two days, I thought I had a pretty great Mahal Na Araw (Holy Week) experience all in all.
Today is no exception and in fact, the best part of it all! It is the resurrection of Christ and I am reminded of God's generosity and His ever-constant presence.
Tomorrow, as I've found out, is still an extension of the Filipino holiday-- it is the Araw ng Kagitingan, and lucky for us, our holidays are extended for 24 hours more!!!
I am actually itching to get back on track with the 'regular days', since I've other errands to attend to, but these holidays (as according to their nature) happen so seldom, I rather enjoy it until the last moment.
So far, I've bonded with my parents and older brother and actually stayed together literally in the house the entire Friday.
Last Saturday night, we went out and saw the Wrath of the Titans and I enjoyed it, contrary to the bad reviews I've heard!

It's a good thing my dad still convinced us to watch the film despite some of the reviews, and I'm glad I went ahead to see it for myself.
For those who are still interested, go ahead and watch. I quite enjoyed the humor inserted every now and then in the film, something I didn't expect. The action was 'adequate' and to expound it is not my cup of tea for now, at least not in this entry.
But I enjoyed it, and that in itself is my general comment.
So for the rest of the remaining hours of the long week (not just weekend!), have a blessed great time with your loved ones! Grab the opportunities and make more happy memories as ever possible!
